Kenneth has taken a bit of a break from the stage to open his new dance, casting, rehearsal and training studios in the city of London. Check out STAGEWORKS STUDIOS at www.stageworksstudios.co.uk
Also, over the past two years Kenneth has been writing a musical play with his writing partner Mark Goldthorp (Avenue Q, Drowsy Chaperone). It is now complete and a reading will be held early Feb, 2010. The show, entitled "The Singing Teacher" will be produced off the West End later this year and will star the two writers.
Kenneth has a stage school STARS (Stageworks Theatre Arts School) which will move into his new venue this month (January 2010) and in September his full-time musical theatre school will commence - The American Musical Theatre Academy of London - focusing on both English and American musical theatre styles with an emphasis on the latter.
Last year Kenneth appeared in the European premiere of the new musical ORDINARY DAYS at the Finborough Theatre, London. He played the part of Jason opposite Julie Atherton (Avenue Q, Mamma Mia, Last Five Years). Music and Lyrics by Adam Gwon and directed by Adam Lenson.
Prior to that Kenneth appeared as Jaycee Squires in THE MUSIC MAN at the Chichester Festival. The show opened on the 23rd June for previews and press night was the 3rd July with closing night on the 30th of August. The show has broken all box office records and has received glowing reviews...
