My first Blog on this site...
Thank you to all those who have emailed me on the website.  I'm glad you have all enjoyed the show and I hope to see you all again. We did show #31 last night to a full house. Apparently the show (The Musicman, Chichester Festival Hall - for those who don't know) has taken the highest box office ever in the history of the Chichester Festival. I was a bit blown away by that. Not that I don't think it deserves it, but Chichester has been running for years. Anyway, I'm glad I'm in the show that hit that record.

As the show is now in 'rep' with another show, it allows me to have days off in a row. I spent four days in Dublin last week and it was great fun. The students were fantastic and Dublin on the whole is amazing, The energy is so positive and we had such a lot of fun - but stayed out way to late!

I'm busy planning my new anvanced theatre programme which starts this September. I'm excited about that. It will give a lot of people an outlet to perform in a show and to learn from the best from the West End.  It will take up every Saturday for me and then I will continue to teach at Pineapple Performing Arts School on a Sunday and of course my private students through the week.

My play, which I co-wrote with Mark Goldthorp (he is in Avenue Q) is due to have a staged reading at the beginning of October. I can't wait. We have already had a cast read through and it's very funny. Time to take it to the next step.

It's rainy and cold here in Chichester - makes a nice change from the humidity we had earlier in the week but it would be nice if the sun came out.
