Back in London

Well, THE MUSICMAN finished its run on 30th August when we played two shows to full houses. It was a crazy day with all the 'goodbyes' and sigining posters/programmes etc., taking photos and all that jazz that goes along with doing a show. I would have loved to have done the show for another month but hopefully it will get the transfer (that is in progress at the moment) and I will have that chance to do it all again in the new year.

I am recording at Abbey Road studios on Saturday the 5th of August. The Barbershop Quartet, of which I was part of in The Musicman, has been asked to record the songs for an album of songs from The Musicman. Completely unrelated to the show and was pure coincidence that an album was being done.  Glad it is though and glad they asked us! I am looking forward to the session and to finally hear what we really sound like - oh, and recording at Abbey Rd. Studios is a bit of a thrill as well.

I am preparing for my new theatre programme which starts at the end of the month. www.stageworkstraining.co.uk which is keeping me busy. As well, I am back teaching all those students I have neglected over the summer.
